Food Pantry

Monday through Friday from 9am-3pm

West End Community Center is home to a weekly food pantry helping to provide fresh produce, canned goods, dairy products, and meats to community members in need of food assistance. We are open to everyone!

Fresh Food Fridays

Summer Months on Friday Mornings at 10am

We held our first Fresh Food Friday in May of 2022. Our Executive Director had the idea to move our food pantry outside on Friday mornings and we have continued every summer since. Community members line up to receive fresh produce and household goods. All that is required is a valid ID and bags to hold the items. Last summer, we expanded to local centers and assisted living communities. Thank you to everyone who has made this event a success!

Heath Equity Zone (HEZ) Learning Community

WECC’s Executive Director, Denise Greene, has presented at multiple HEZ learning community events. Her presentations have included “How to Build a Straw Bale Garden” and “Doing the Work: A Time for Action.”
