Early Learning
The WECC provides a supportive, stimulating learning environment designed to meet all our children’s needs. As part of our early childhood curriculum, WECC delivers an engaging and comprehensive learning environment that engages children at every stage of the day. We allow children to experience learning as a fun activity at an early age. As part of the West End Early Learning Program, children develop gross motor, fine motor, eye-hand coordination, recognition of letters, shapes, numbers, colors, speech, and social skills.
Toddler Classroom: 18 months – 3 years old
Preschool Classroom: 3 – 5 years old
Toddler Program
Ages: 18 months – 3 years old
We provide breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack. Lunch is prepared in our kitchen, fresh every day. Kathy Love prepares amazing lunch that our kids love!
After you drop your child off, it is breakfast time. After breakfast, we start our morning activity. Depending on the weather, we will walk to a local park in our yellow bus or stay inside, play with shaving cream, complete an arts & crafts project, or have story time. Around 11:30am, we sit down for lunch. After lunch, all diapers are changed before we lay our toddlers down for a nap. Once our toddlers wake up from nap, we feed them snacks and change diapers. Then we will play until pick-up time. Parents pick-up anytime be 3:00pm-5:30pm.
Preschool Program
Ages: 3 years – 5 years old

MORE INFO ABOUT OUR SCHEDULE:
After you drop your child off, it is breakfast time. After breakfast, we start circle time. This is where we practice our numbers, letters, colors, and days of the week. After circle time we will complete an arts & crafts project or play at centers. Usually, before lunch, we will walk to a local park or play outside at our playground. Lunch is at 11:30am. Once our preschoolers are finished eating lunch, they are directed to use the restroom and lay down for nap. Nap time ends at 3:00pm. After nap, our preschoolers are directed again to use the restroom and then sit down for snack. If the weather permits, we will enjoy snack outside at our playground. Our preschoolers will play outside or play at centers inside until pick-up time. Parents pick-up anytime between 3-5:30pm.
